Kevin Gates did not appreciate the antics of YouTube prankster Wayon, assaulting him after he tried to pull a joke on him in a shopping mall.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Wayon films himself at Westfield Topanga Mall in California when he sees Gates out shopping with a woman.

With the camera rolling, Wayon approaches the Baton Rouge rapper and says: “You look like Kevin Gates. That is Kevin Gates!” while pointing at him.
Gates did not look amused and replies: “Look, stop playing with me, bro. Get the fuck out the door,” ushering the YouTuber towards the mall’s exit.

Wayon apologizes before moments later asking him: “Can you say ‘dick in that pussy’ for me real quick?”
The X-rated request appears to push the rapper over the edge as he then hits Waylon on the back of his head before casually walking away.

In disbelief, the YouTuber says: “Ahhh, Kevin Gates! What the fuck, Kevin Gates?! Come on, man. Ow, that hurt. What the heck, Kevin? I didn’t appreciate that, Kevin. That hurt a lot.”
He added: “Kevin Gates just assaulted me. Damn, ouch. N-gga, I just got punched by Kevin Gates. That’s lowkey a dub.”
Gates has yet to comment on the incident.
Flavor Flav had a more positive response to being pranked by social media star Gerard Huston earlier this month after he was deliberately mistaken for Boosie Badazz.
“Oh my God, that was you. Lil Boosie, bro!” Huston says in a clip of their interaction while dapping up the Long Island native, who was draped in a Team USA Olympic tracksuit and matching jewelry.

Taking the (intentional) case of mistaken identity in stride, Flav responds: “Everybody say that. But that’s my guy, you know what I’m saying?”
Catching the prankster off guard, he then says: “I am his daddy. You want me to be yours too?” prompting laughter from onlookers.
Huston has a history of pulling the same stunt with various other Hip Hop stars, to mixed results.
While Flavor Flav appeared to find the gimmick amusing, one rap legend who was less impressed by Huston’s antics was E-40.

In July, Huston went up to the Bay Area legend and addressed him as Fat Joe.
“Fat Joe? Yeah, I was just with him,” 40 Water responded, most likely in reference to them sharing the stage at a Joe Biden rally in North Carolina the previous month.

When the hyphy pioneer realized that Huston had confused him for the Terror Squad boss, he snapped: “You a comedian […] That was childish, right? Come on man, when was you born? 2024?”
As he walked away, he shouted: “Do your homework!”
