Flavor Flav continues to prove that he hasn’t lost his sense of humor, even at the ripe old age of 65.
The Public Enemy legend was the latest rapper to be targeted by social media prankster Gerald Huston, who filmed himself excitedly running up to Flav on the street and mistakenly referring to him Boosie Badazz.

“Oh my God, that was you. Lil Boosie, bro!” Huston says in the clip while dapping up the Long Island native, who was draped in a Team USA Olympic tracksuit and matching jewelry.
Taking the (intentional) case of mistaken identity in stride, Flav responds: “Everybody say that. But that’s my guy, you know what I’m saying?”

Catching the prankster off guard, he then says: “I am his daddy. You want me to be yours too?” prompting laughter from onlookers.

Huston has a history of pulling the same stunt with various other Hip Hop stars, to mixed results.
While Flavor Flav appeared to find the gimmick amusing, one rap legend who was less impressed by Huston’s antics was E-40.

In July, Huston went up to the Bay Area legend and addressed him as Fat Joe.
“Fat Joe? Yeah, I was just with him,” 40 Water responded, most likely in reference to them sharing the stage at a Joe Biden rally in North Carolina the previous month.
When the hyphy pioneer realized that Huston had confused him for the Terror Squad boss, he snapped: “You a comedian […] That was childish, right? Come on man, when was you born? 2024?”
As he walked away, he shouted: “Do your homework!”

Huston also pulled the same prank on Killer Mike, who he deliberately mistook for fellow Dungeon Family almunus Big Boi.
Without missing a beat, the Run The Jewels rapper played along as he recognized Huston and in turn pretended to mistake the social media star for Mystikal.
