Kendrick Lamar, 2023 HipHopDX Rising Star GloRilla and a number of other rappers have been tapped to perform at the Austin City Limits 2023 festival later this year.

Organizers revealed the event’s lineup on Tuesday (May 9) with three-day ticket passes now on sale as of press time starting at $335.

In addition to Kendrick headlining and Big Glo hitting the stage, other Hip Hop acts such as Coi Leray, Lil Yachty, Little Simz and singer Kali Uchis are slated to make appearances as well.

“Your 2023 Lineup 3-Day Tickets go on sale TODAY at 12pm CT,” the festival announced. “New this year! No surprises at checkout—all fees & shipping costs are included upfront.”

Many fans appeared to not be too thrilled with the lineup choices as they flooded the comment section with criticism.

“The ACL lineup keeps sucking the past few years,” one person wrote, while another added: “Literally worst line up i’ve ever seen lol.”

The Compton legend’s recent touring has proved to be a lucrative source of income. Kendrick broke Drake’s tour record thanks to his Big Steppers Tour, which pulled in over $100million in revenue.

According to Touring Data, K. Dot’s Big Steppers Tour is now the high-grossing tour by a rapper as a headlining act in history having earned $110.9million from 929,000 tickets across 73 shows.

This puts K. Dot ahead of Drake and Migos‘ Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour, Drake and Future‘s Summer Sixteen Tour, Kanye West and JAY-Z‘s Watch the Throne Tour, his own DAMN. Tour and Travis Scott‘s Astroworld Tour.

The Big Steppers Tour began in July 2022 following the release of Kendrick’s long-awaited fifth album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and came to an end that September.
