Kay Flock has released an extended declaration that talks about his current legal affairs and also delves into how he plans to use his power and influence for good while incarcerated.
On Saturday (June 17), the Bronx drill rapper took to Instagram and began by apologizing to his fans, his entire family, his team, his brothers “that’s home” and those who he’s lost in the streets. He then talked about being arrested for murder in December 2021 and being indicted for several racketeering conspiracy charges earlier this year.

Kay Flock then spoke on how he has a good heart but he’s damaged and hurt from his past. He also mentioned losing two brothers to gun violence while in prison and not being able to see them one last time before explaining how people continue to bring up the negative aspects of his actions as opposed to the positive ones.
Flock also made sure to highlight that Sev Side is not a gang, but a family and a music group that’s been utilized to change their lives through rap.

The “DOA” artist continued his message by saying he wants to influence the youth to make better choices through a new campaign. “I’m starting a #StopTheViolence Campaign,” he said. “They say I have a huge influence, only this right here will tell.”
He closed his message by sending a prayer to those who aren’t coming home, those that have stayed solid, and current incarcerated rappers including Casanova, Young Thug, YNW Melly, Pooh Shiesty, and Boosie Badazz, to name a few.

In the next slide of the post, Flock is seen in a video clip standing alongside a little girl and giving her some money out of his pocket.

With Kay Flock’s most recent charge in February, he and five others were accused of organizing the Sev Side/DOA gang. The indictment claims the gang’s primary purpose was to commit robberies, acts of violence and financial fraud in the Belmont section of The Bronx. They also face several counts of attempted murder and illegal firearm possession.
These additional counts are just a slither of Kay Flock’s legal woes as he also faces a separate murder charge for allegedly killing Oscar Hernandez outside a Harlem barbershop at the end of 2021.
According to police reports, Flock was walking down a street in Harlem when he came across Hernandez waiting for a haircut at the barbershop. Flock allegedly asked Hernandez what he was looking at, which caused him to step out of the shop and confront the rapper.
An argument ensued and as Kay Flock began walking away, shots were fired. Hernandez was fatally struck in the neck.

Kay Flock’s attorney Scott Leemon dropped a bombshell in 2021 when he issued a statement claiming the rapper wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger. Leemon and his team opened their own investigation at the time after newly released footage showed a different angle of the crime.
