Kanye West has been criticized by Jewish advocacy groups over an allegedly antisemitic lyric in his latest song “Vultures.”

The track, which was released earlier this month, finds Ye addressing the antisemitism controversy that has surrounded him for over a year, rapping: “How can I be antisemitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”

In response to the controversial line, which is the latest in a long list of allegedly antisemitic things said by the rapper, the Anti-Defamation League told TMZ: “At a time of rising antisemitism worldwide, it’s disgusting to see Kanye once again use his platform to spew Jew hatred.”

They also accused West, who has publicly praised Hitler and been hanging out with Holocaust deniers, of being an “unrepentant antisemite and clearly a misogynist.”

Richard Hirschhaut, who is the spokesperson for the American Jewish Committee, also called out Kanye’s repeated remarks about Jewish people and said the lyric “seems particularly pathetic and sad.”

“To fuel the flames of antisemitism and promote such bile to his millions of followers, especially at this fraught and dangerous time for the Jewish community, is unforgivable,” he added.

“Vultures,” which features Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk and Bump J, garnered immediate criticism upon its release.

Even Chris Brown came under fire after he was seen partying with West in Dubai and appearing to laugh at the lyric while the song was being played.

Brown later denied that he was antisemitic, writing on social media: “In no way, shape or form am I antisemitic!!! I’m pro life and I make music for the entire world!!! So please do not get tricked into thinking I spread hate or am kool with it! This is for the millions of young kids that look up and [may] be confused.”

The controversial singer had earlier ranted at a Jewish influencer who called him out for enjoying the track.

“Let me make this perfectly clear before ya’ll try to use me as a pawn… Ima Piru, I ain’t Muslim or Jewish so don’t start no shit won’t be no shit!!!” he wrote in a since-deleted post. “Im trying to be peaceful but please do not wake up the demon in me! Go on about your fucking day.”

Kanye West’s history of antisemitic remarks dates back to at least 2013 when he said: “Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people … We ain’t Jewish. We don’t get family that got money like that.”

His comments about Jewish people significantly increased and became increasingly inflammatory in 2022 when he posted on X, then Twitter, that he was “going death con 3″ [sic] on Jewish people.”
