Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Is Finally Here

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign managed to release their latest collaboration Vultures 2 (almost) right on time.

The 16-song project came out in the early morning hours of Saturday (August 3), just one day after their announced release date of August 2.

The tracklist of the project differs significantly from a version that was reportedly listed on yeezy.com earlier this week.

The actually-released album’s tracklist is below:

    Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign — Vultures 2

    2. Time Moving Slow
    3. Field Trip
    4. Fried
    5. Isabella
    6. Promotion
    7. Husband
    8. Lifestyle

    12. 530
    13. Dead
    14. Forever Rolling
    15. Sky City
    16. My Soul

You can listen to the project below on Spotify. It is also available to stream on Ye’s YouTube channel, where it starts approximately 12 minutes into the hour-plus-long single video, which was livestreamed at around 3 AM Eastern time on Saturday.

Vultures 2 has been plagued with delays since missing its initial release date of March 8. Kanye West later announced that it would drop on May 3, but the project again failed to arrive with no explanation.

Despite this, Ty Dolla $ign repeatedly insisted that the album is still on the way, saying during a livestream with Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy in May: “It’s dropping ASAP. Vultures 2 is on the way. It’s coming soon. Any day now.”

At one point, Ty even said that the project would be released exclusively on Kanye’s YZY app instead of traditional streaming services — an idea that had been floated by Ye previously, and that turned out not to be the case.

The ¥$ duo were also recently hit by a huge leak of tracks from various Vultures sessions, with dozens of songs surfacing online in near-finished states.

Ty Dolla revealed last week that he and West will deliver a Vultures “listening experience” in Taiwan on August 25.

Further information regarding a venue or tickets, however, have yet to be revealed.

While similar events held earlier this year have seen the duo perform the already-released Vultures 1, the California crooner hinted that this upcoming show will feature material from the second collaborative project.

“V2,” he simply wrote in his caption.

The Taiwan performance will follow a similar listening experience in South Korea on August 23, which was announced earlier this month.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were previously scheduled to embark on a mini-tour of U.S. cities to perform their first Vultures album, but the plug was pulled at late notice, purportedly due to “time constraints” in readying the performances.

A separate show at the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Egypt was also postponed, although a rescheduled date has yet to be announced.

    1. OK so I downloaded it but for some reason I just can’t press play. So I’m going to leave up to the comments section to decide 🤔. Carry on!!!

    2. Ye creativity is on Pluto while we’re here on earth. Vultures 1 was full of production bangers, but Vultures 2 is more of a complete album. Only thing left on my music wish list is a Nas and Jay album and a Drake and Ye Album. Vulture 2 is AOTY

    3. The album title “vultures” is appropriately dedicated to the fraudulent, non-credible, pathetic, corny, cringy, embarrassing, wannabe, stupid, laughable, lame, pitiful, garbage, retarded af DuncecapD/X SHIT staff who we all know are the ultimate culture “vultures”

    4. Played each song twice. Can’t fuk with this album. Sounds too dated in rap style and too orchestral. Just yesterday I heard that JID Eminem song Fuel. That’s how two artists should rap on a song together. That shit got my attention quickly.. This vultures thing just ain’t for me. No offense to the artists who worked hard on their project.

    5. Will someone finally admit rap music is dead?
It is like any other genre, drugs, gambling, porn,
      and sports.

      1. 100% agree with you. I just reloaded my playlist with all old-school hip-hop. Public Enemy on repeat.
It takes a nation my dude!!
