Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have announced a “multi-stadium listening event” where they’ll premiere upcoming collaborative album.
On Monday (October 23), Ty took to Instagram to reveal that the big event will take place on November 3, although no locations were announced.

The news comes after reports that the Chicago rap icon and California crooner were set to perform the project in front of upwards of 100,000 fans at a massive concert in Italy in late October.
However, the show — which was rumored to take place at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia — was canceled after reportedly hitting a roadblock.

It was also recently reported that Kanye and Ty Dolla are looking for a company to distribute their joint project. Billboard speculated that it will most likely be a smaller distributor as “some label leaders have passed on the opportunity” due to Ye’s antisemitic comments from last year.
Rick Ross has signaled his interest in signing Yeezy to Maybach Music Group and releasing his album with Ty Dolla $ign through his imprint.
Kanye West first spoke about the prospect of recording a joint album with Ty Dolla $ign during an interview with Power 106 in 2018.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have collaborated many times in the past on songs such as “Real Friends,” “Fade,” “Wouldn’t Leave,” “Violent Crimes,” “Everything We Need,” “Guard Down,” “Track 6,” “Ego Death,” “Junya Pt. 2” and “Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2).”
Ye was also one of the main reasons why Eminem asked Ty to feature on “Favorite Bitch” from Music to Be Murdered By: Side B.
