Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are at odds once again after the rap legend released a controversial new song with Diddy and his daughter North.
Over the weekend, Kanye posted and then deleted a track on social media called “Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine,” which features the first on-wax statement from the disgraced Bad Boy boss since his sex trafficking and racketeering arrest last September.

It opens with a phone conversation between Ye and an incarcerated Diddy, who says: “I just want to thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man. Ain’t nobody reached out to them, ain’t nobody called. Nobody.
“That meant so much that you reached out to them and took them under your wing while I’m in this muthafucka. I appreciate you. Word up, man.”

The Chicago native replies: “Absolutely. I love you so much, man. You raised me, even when I ain’t know you, know what I’m saying?”
“Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine” also features guest vocals from 11-year-old North, Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs and Jasmine Williams, a singer who is apparently signed to Kanye’s Yeezy imprint.
It also ends with a Diddy-flavored beat switch that features his signature ad-lib “As we proceed!” and is reminiscent of Biggie‘s “My Downfall.”

The song subsequently reignited tensions between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who finalized their acrimonious and lengthy divorce in 2022.
West shared screenshots on X (formerly Twitter) of text messages between himself and his ex-wife in which they row about their daughter and the trademark to her name.

In the messages, Ye writes: “I’m never speaking with you again,” seemingly in reference to the trademark dispute.
Kardashian then replies: “I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18 it goes to her. So stop. I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her.”
She continues: “One person has to trademark. We agreed when they were born I would get all of our kids names and trademarks so no one else would take them.”
Kanye hits back: “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

In a separate X post, Ye also attacked the reality star, with whom he shares three other children, for allegedly impeding his ability as a parent.
He wrote: “I DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WHERE THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOS [sic] HOUSES THEY SLEEP OVER.
“ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY AND THE BIGGER AGENDA TO USE THE SELECTIVELY BRED BLACK CHILDREN TO BE PLATFORMS TO INFLUENCE BLACK PEOPLE.”
West later added: “JUST SEEING MY KIDS IS LIKE VISITATION.”
ye says he just found out kim kardashian owns the trademark rights to north west’s name and likeness:
