Kanye West Called A ‘GOP Plant’ In Failed 2020 Presidential Campaign

Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign had plenty of skeptics, but according to new details, the plot behind Ye’s bid was far more profound than him being a ploy to lure voters away from Joe Biden.

On Friday (December 17), The Daily Beast released a report detailing a behind-the-scenes plot Ye’s campaign enacted to hide “potentially millions of dollars” in services it got from a network of GOP “operatives.” The report further clarified certain operatives were advisers who worked with individuals considered part of the Republican “elite.”

In sum, The Daily Beast article alleges Ye’s campaign didn’t pay any of these advisers or “operatives,” which is illegal under federal election law.

Experts and various political watchdog operations such as Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington or CREW director Jordan Libowitz contributed to the report. According to Libowitz, the Donda rapper and fashion mogul was merely a “plant” who benefitted the Republican party.

“It’s pretty clear Kanye was a GOP plant, whether he knew it or not,” he told The Daily Beast.

It’s unclear how much Ye knew what was going on behind closed doors with his campaign, but John Boyd, who served as “spiritual adviser” for Ye, told The New York Times about his lack of awareness.

“He had companies, individuals working for him, I don’t even know if he knew what they were doing that deeply,” Boyd said. “That’s my personal view. There were definitely agendas out there that perhaps he didn’t have full control over.”

Ye’s presidential run ended in disaster and former Vice-President Joe Biden ultimately won the 2020 election. Recently, Ye called out two of his former G.O.O.D. Music labelmates, Big Sean and John Legend. during his now-infamous Drink Champs interview over lack of loyalty and not supporting his ambition to become President.

When Big Sean eventually appeared on Drink Champs, he refuted those claims, highlighting how he supported no candidate in 2020 out of respect of Ye running.

“While he was running for president, I didn’t have his contact!” Sean said. “I purposefully didn’t endorse anyone publicly, politically because my man’s is running. I didn’t come out and support the Democratic Party because my man’s was running and he wasn’t on the ballot in 30 something states,” Sean said. “I didn’t come out and support no Democratic Party, maybe John Legend did. I didn’t.”

    1. Duh? It was clear. Kanye is a sad story, son of a Black Panther who is now using Christianity and Republicanism to scam people.

But it’s sadder because at one point he realized, Democrats ALSO don’t care about Black people & that liberals were just as racist. Instead of being smart enough to realize both sides were bad..he decided if Democrats are bad..then republicans must be good? Like, such a small brain that genuinely wanted to learn and cared. But now he’s just a POS. Marrying Kim K was the biggest blow though because he was now with a white woman who aggressively fetishized Blackness and used Black women to make profit. It is what it is though.

    2. Lol I clicked on this story and knew the proud boy troll would be here crying , and there he is below haha. Predictable loser

    3. At the time Kanye announced his candidacy I remember a coworker saying with elation “YES! He’ll siphon Black votes away from the Democrat and Trump will win again!” I asked this man if he really believed Black people would vote for any old Black dude and he said “You all voted for Obama…” I then asked if he believes Barack Obama and Kanye West are political equals. I also called this man on the night the election was called for Biden to ask him what he thought about how the votes went but he didn’t pick up.
