Footage of one of Jill Scott’s sexually charged performances made the rounds earlier this week and now, the R&B/neo-soul singer has addressed the online commotion. On Thursday morning (November 15), Scott headed to Twitter where she shared a screenshot of a reply to one of her thirsty commenters.
“Meet and greet? Sure,” she wrote. “Anything else? Nope. I didn’t post that old ass snippet. Piss on whoever did! I would’ve, at least, posted that damn point of it all. Trust, there’s always purpose in what I do. My DM’s blowing up and idiots, who’ll NEVER know what I do for the man I [love], hollering, ‘hey big head’ wasn’t it.

Scott also explained in the caption she wasn’t upset about the video.
“I ain’t mad at all,” she wrote. “I’m glowing to work. Have a fantastic day and get chu some Jill Scott. Makes the day go down a lil easier.”
In the clip, Scott simulates a sex act on her microphone and leaves little to the imagination. Naturally, Twitter went wild and almost couldn’t believe what they were watching. Scott likely had no choice but to acknowledge what was the No. 1 trending topic on the social media platform.
