After the relaunching of Jeezy‘s charity, Street Dreamz Foundation, in July, the Seen It All rapper has donated 1000 backpacks to Atlanta elementary schools, HipHopWired reports.
Street Dreamz Foundation teamed up with Shanti Daz’s 4th Annual Backpack Blessings Back To School Drive for the donation at a local Walmart in Atlanta.
The event attendees included local community leaders and politicians.
Jeezy recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Thug Motivation: 101 with a dinner gala to coincide with relaunching of his Street Dreamz Foundation. He also had a concert of the album streamed exclusively on TIDAL.
During the Jeezy-hosted gala, the rapper made plans to team up with Councilmember Cleta Winslow to host a clean up of the District 4 neighborhood of Atlanta. He was presented with the Phoenix Award for his charity work.
