JAY-Z, Lil Wayne and Doja Cat are among the big namess contributing new music for the soundtrack to The Book of Clarence.

Ahead of the movie’s release on Friday (January 12), RapCaviar revealed the full tracklist for the accompanying album on social media on Monday (January 8).

In addition to Hov, Weezy annd Doja, the likes of D’Angelo, Kodak Black, Kid Cudi, Jorja Smith, Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks also appear on the project.

The soundtrack will also be released on Friday via Roc Nation.

JAY-Z and D’Angelo’s collaboration “I Want You Forever” was announced by Hov and director Jeymes Samuel at a screening on Saturday (January 6), where they were interviewed by Elliott Wilson.

“It’s so deep. D’Angelo and JAY-Z on the same track,” said Samuel, who also records music under the name The Bullitts. “[It’s] 9 minutes, 33 seconds of absolute soulful biblical bliss.”

Kid Cudi was full of praise after attending the The Book of Clarence premiere on Friday night (January 5), giving props to his former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Teyana Taylor for her role in the movie.

The Book of Clarence was beautiful,” he wrote on X. “Jeymes Samuel is a serious problem. A perfect film. Black excellence at it finest. Shout out to all involved, what a wonderful cast!!! Especially that Teyana Taylor. Im so proud of u T!!!”

He added later that day: “Go see The Book of Clarence next week im tellin u. Trust me.”

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, JAY-Z spoke about his and Beyoncé‘s recent moves in the film industry with The Book of Clarence and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, respectively.

“I think it’s all a part of being creative, you know? Create, you know, in lines,” he said. “Whether it’s audio, visual, etc. — you just create and when you love creating. It doesn’t matter the pipeline in which you create.”

Speaking on what drew him to The Book of Clarence, he added: “It’s Jeymes. Jeymes is just a genius. We did The Harder They Fall together and we are gonna do a bunch of projects.

“We got a bunch of projects in the pipeline as well — he’s just fearless. He’s fearless and he’s creative. We went from Old West to the New Testament.”
