    1. “I say a B.I.G. verse, I’m only bigging up my brother/ Bigging up my borough, I’m big enough to do it/ I’m that thorough, plus I know my own flow is foolish” Quoting this before broke Nas stans start keyboard bitching in the comments.

      1. STFU…Queens respect B.K…B.K respect Queens…Respect to the whole NYC…Bronx, Manhattan, Staten…BIRTHPLACE OF HIP HOP

      2. That quote makes Jay Z seem disingenuous at best. A quote from a 2003 Album, after the fact he had pretty much quoted all of Biggies material or altered the lyrics to seem like his own original material. Without never mentioning the fact in the prior 8ish years that they were in fact Biggies lyrics.

        1. You clowns always talking about “stealing” lyrics. As if Jay was hoping no one would notice. As if he was secretly trying to pass it off as his own. If you are a true fan of hip hop, it’s so obvious a Biggie lyric and he’s paying homage. Clowns.

If I would say “hip, hop, hibbe to the hip, hop and ya don’t stop”…am I “stealing”? It’s so obvious a reference, no one would ever be able to pass it off as their own. Sit yo asses down.

          1. Well, Jay Z had multiple occasions of using lyrics from not instantly recognizable Biggie songs and actually altering Biggie’s lines to make it his “own” but they wouldn’t appear to be an obvious reference. Also, it took Jay Z 8 years of using Biggie’s lyrics for him to clarify that it was done in homage, after multiple times beings asked why he was using Biggie’s lyrics. If multiple people/publications have to ask you why you are using someone else’s lyrics so often and you have to explain its actual an homage, is it really an homage? I guess, at minimum you can say Jay Z is really bad at giving homages.

          2. What a shit take you have there. How is it an homage, if you have to be a true hip hop head to recognize it? The purpose of an homage is literally to publicly adore someone. If public at large don’t know who the hell you’re bigging up, how the hell can it be an homage? I swear people keep getting dumber and dumber on hhdx.

    2. LMFAO that Jay-Z is WACK AS FUCK!!!…the only good one is the Goonies one.
Also Cardi-B is a dude so Eric Andre is dressing like a dude???

    3. Without Biggie, Tupac, and Big L passing, Jayz would have never become the legend he is today. Biggie and Big L would have overshadowed him, and beef with Tupac was ever good, cause Tupac was one of the few rappers who really lived fearlessly and wasn’t afraid of death. Jayz got his classics, but at the end of the day, he’s a big phony. Still top ten dead or alive as far as hiphop I guess tho!

    4. If Jay-Z and Beyonce dress up like Biggie and the woman he was cheating with, someone needs to dress up like Jay-Z and Rachel Roy.

    5. If Tupac was alive Jay Z would be working at McDonalds…there would be no babies by Beyonce…only burgers and fries…Jay Z is a Biggie d rider who stole everybody’s style at the time

      1. Ur young and dum and you don’t know nothing! If your logic was sensible… They’re would be no EM, 50 cent, lil Wayne, Drake, or any star that has emerged in the last 20 years while Jay has been on top. No one will ever stop anyone from getting on as long as there’s fans like u, who obviously see something wrong with Jay that I don’t smh

    6. I always laugh when people say he was stealing Bigs lyrics like he didn’t have BARS! for days……but you Jay-Z haters will spin anything to make sure you discredit him for his career……and please stop with this if Big L was alive shit…..he came out in like 95 and passed in 99 and what the fuck did he release that actually wasn’t local to New York…..come on people Big L was trash and New Yorkers hate to believe it …none of his music or his style really worked outside of New york….even when Jay-Z released Reasonable Doubt in 96 it was rocking everywhere.
