J. Cole’s “2014 Forest Hills Drive” Album Certified Triple Platinum

    J. Cole’s platinum collection continues to grow. Dreamville Records announced Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive album has been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The label shared the news of the certification via social media on Thursday (May 30).

Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive LP was released in December 2014. The project sparked the popular “J. Cole Went Platinum With No Features” meme when it became his first album to be certified platinum by the RIAA.

The Dreamville founder’s first two studio releases, Cole World: The Sideline Story and Born Sinner, didn’t earn their platinum certifications until after 2014 Forest Hills Drive achieved the feat.

As of May 2019, every Cole solo album has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

    1. Too bad J. Cole is emulating the trap and mumble generation. I mean, he used autotune on the last song he was on. His flows have transformed into the redundant trap cadence that EVERYBODY does. KOD was a trap album and he used fake beef to act like he was making fun of it, when in fact all he wanted to do was rap over trap beats. Been doing it ever since. WACK

      1. I agree with you. Cole lost his identity and now hes chasing promo versus making good records. As a huge Cole fan, I’m very disappointed in where his music has headed. This is why I say Kendrick is better because hendont donthat gimmick bullshit to sell records

    2. This album is in the section with the soothing whale sounds and rain drops to help you sleep right? I didn’t know they kept track of those kind of albums
