J. Cole Shoots Air Balls & Blocks Shots In 2nd Pro Basketball Game

    J. Cole played in his second professional game in the African Basketball League on Tuesday (May 18) and was shut out in the scoring column but the Rwanda Patriots took home another win to keep their undefeated season going.

It was a match up Cole is probably going to want to forget against GNBC. Outside of a nice blocked shot early on in the game, the North Carolina native threw up a couple of bricks from deep and completely missed the rim on both three-point attempts. In 15 minutes on the floor, J. Cole had one steal, one block and no points in their second win.

In his first appearance off the bench over the weekend, the former St. John’s walk-on scored three points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out two assists and had three turnovers. The Born Sinner rapper is expected to play in three to six games in his stint with the Rwanda Patriots.

    J. Cole’s rollout for The Off-Season couldn’t have gone much better. After releasing “i n t e r l u d e” and a short documentary, the album arrived for fans more than three years since KOD.

The Off-Season is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — which would be his sixth consecutive at the apex — with about 300,000 album-equivalent units sold. The debut could be the largest week by an artist in 2021. Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) sold roughly 291,000 total album-equivalent units.

    1. “he’s living his dream!”
      “Let that man live!”

Ok … His dream ain’t working out. Time to wake up bruh…

      1. Instead of trying to tear him down because he’s pursuing his dream support him! He has nothing to prove to anyone but himself. Crabs in a bucket mentality.

    2. J Cole fulfilled one dream and is now pursuing another while you mothafuckas don’t have the determination to follow a single one.

    3. Love your music, but let this whole basketball thing go man. You’re average at best. Make more music and cut your hair lol looks like a spider, a mop, and hairy poop logs all got tied up in a knot.

        1. I don’t have hair that looks like tarantula legs and hairy poop. Definitely shouldnt be doing that in his life. And have you seen him play? Does it look like he should be doing that in his life? Lol

          1. I never said he was good. Im just sayin you quick to hate when dude is just pursuing a SECOND dream after already fulfilling one…and you?

            1. Pick and choose your dreams realistically. Cole is very good at rapping so of course he pursued the rap thing. That made sense. He’s not good at basketball so maybe don’t pursue that professional basketball dream lol it’s like ya MJ is the goat of basketball but everybody knows he should’ve never tried playing professional baseball lol I mean if you wanna do it and try to pursue all your dreams hey by all means go for it, but sometimes its pretty obvious how its gonna turn out

            2. You are right. But at that point isn’t it for that person to find out whether it’s worth chasing or or not? I can tell you all day long that your dream is unrealistic but until YOU try it and fail/succeed only YOU will know if it was worth it.

        2. Benji you sound like the kind of guy who can’t accept the truth haha He’s garbage. Go sit down.

          1. Ok you think he’s garbage. Valid opinion. And exactly what are you doing other than replying to my post on a hip hop site?

      1. hahaha hairy poop logs. now that shit b funny. ya cole need to hang it up. maybe start working on another dreamville cd or something. im better than him and i play once a month maybe hahaha

        1. Suuuure terry. Only thing u playing with is Truth’s dick the way you riding on that comment right now.

          1. lol cuz i agree with another person’s opinion? cmon bruhhhh. now we know you salty. and stop liking your own comments hahaha

    4. Some jealous MF’s in the comment section as usual. Cole just dropped ANOTHER fire album, and he’s pro-ballin’. Say what you like about how good a player he is, I guarantee he runs rings around all of you bishes on the court.

      J. Cole living your wildest dreams whilst you sit at your Mom’s laptop and hate.

      1. Facts. Also these folks didn’t see him hooping with NBA players over summers. Try and do all that he’s doing and still practice and play for a professional team, good or not. That’s hard mentally and physically. Haters GTFOH

    5. I’m sorry man. I’m not hating ALL. This LEAGUE sucks.. but this dude ain’t even drawin IRON and this is a no defense ABA style thing. He cant ball. He’s a very talented rapper tho. Also boring lol.

    6. I would rather see him play in Africa. Then ever see him play for these slave masters over here in America!

      1. At least the slave masters in America pay black athletes multi million dollars increasing their and their families net worth for generations. What can Africa pay them?
