    2. Give that damn “C” word a break for a while. It’s a solid debut, but some of you Cole stans are getting carried away.

      1. Classics can’t be determined until well after the album has been out. If it’s an album you still bump on the regular years after the drop, that’s a classic.

An instant classic has to be so other worldly that it can’t even be rated on a scale. Something that would score 6 or 7 on a 5 point scale.

As much as I like J.Cole, this deserves AT BEST 4.5 out of 5 and that’s being generous. It’s no where close to instant classic status and as I said before, you can’t put the regular classic label on something until well after the fact.

Get at me in 5-10 years and see if The Sideline Story is still getting regular play .

wow, youre a fucking loser. what gives you the right to decide which albums are/are not instant classics? if its “otherworldly” music to that guy, its an instant classic in his book.

for example, i think The Blueprint is a terrible album, but some call it a classic… i thought The Black Album was amazing, its not nearly as respected as the blueprint or Reasonable Doubt.

all relative. So quit with that “i own the canvas” mentallity, its fucking lame.

      3. There is no such thing as a fucking “instant classic”…its an oxymoron. For starters, how about you look up the definition of classic and tell me how something can be instantly classic.

Like the other dude said, the “C” word gets thrown around so much it has lost all meaning.

      1. U Fucking Serious! His album is a classic no question. And yeah some of the songs are from his mixtapes, but there that good and worth being on it. And most of his beats arent repetitive at all. So go dick ride lil wayne.
