iHeartRadio Music Awards 2018: Winners & Performances

The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards took place at The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday night (March 11). A number of Hip Hop stars were in attendance, while Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled took charge of the ceremony’s hosting duties.

DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” won Hip Hop Song of the Year while Kendrick Lamar beat Drake, Future, Migos and DJ Khaled to win Hip Hop Artist of the Year.

Cardi B — who was nominated in five different categories — walked away with two awards for Best New Artist and Best New Hip Hop Artist. During her acceptance speech for the former, Cardi revealed her highly anticipated debut album will be released sometime in April.

Pharrell presented Chance The Rapper with an Innovator Award for his music achievements and continued philanthropic efforts within his hometown of Chicago.

There were a number of performances from Cardi B, N.E.R.D, and G-Eazy. Eminem and Kehlani also took to the stage to perform a powerful rendition of “Nowhere Fast” off Em’s most recent album, Revival.
