Iggy Azalea has responded to Kanye West after he mentioned her son amid his rant against Playboi Carti.
Kanye, who claims to have been blocked from appearing on Carti’s new album Music, appeared to have been triggered by Carti’s request to be on his daughter North West’s upcoming solo debut.
After Carti tagged Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian on his Instagram Stories and wrote: “Tell my niece North send me a song,” the G.O.O.D. Music founder unleashed an onslaught of angry posts on X and compared the request to asking if Iggy if her son with Carti could do a song with him.
In response, Iggy kindly asked if Onyx could be left out of the conversation as he’s an innocent party.

“Ye, I understand the point you want to make. I say this with kindness & as a mother: Please, leave my child out of this,” she wrote.
“At the end of the day, Jordan has other children (less famous… Does it matter?) but it seems only my son gets harassed in perpetuity about or on behalf of a man he has no relationship with. Does he read it? No. Hes a child. But it creates a digital legacy & an odd (shitty) situation for him to one day discover & endure in perpetuity from strangers online. Can I please have some peace? Can my son have some peace?”
The request was met with Ye then naming his peers who have allegedly slept with the Australian rapper.
“I INTENTIONALLY NEVER SMASHED IGGY BECAUSE OF CARTI,” he began. “OH AND ROCKY OH AND PUSHA OH AND TYGA OH AND FRENCH OH AND YOU GET THE PICTURE.”

He later returned to seemingly say he wasn’t trying to “slut shame” Iggy – despite a typo that said the opposite.
“I WAS TRYING TO SLUT SHAME IGGY I WAS SAYING SHE ALWAYS FUCKED WITH SOMEONE I KNEW,” he said. “I LIKE WHEN GIRLS HAVE HIGH BODY COUNTS.”
In his original rant against Playboi Carti, Kanye wrote on X: “I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI. HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER. I DONT [GIVE] A FUCK ABOUT NONE OF THIS INDUSTRY SHIT AND HOW ITS A SKIMS LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE. AND I DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT NO COMMENTS. THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS.”

“I HELD MY TONGUE ABOUT [NOT] BEING ON CARTI ALBUM. HIM GOING TO MY EX TO ASK MY DAUGHTER TO BE ON A SONG 2 DAYS LATER WAS TOO FAR. NOBODY FINNA PLAY WITH ME,” he added.
The controversial rap legend then directed his venom at Kendrick Lamar, who he recently criticized over his contributions to Carti’s aforementioned album.
“I HAAAAAATED NOT LIKE US,” he wrote, referencing Lamar’s hit collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin that ignited his beef with Drake.

Kanye then boldly attempted to goad the Compton kingpin into a rap battle, writing: “KENDRICK PLEEEEASE COME DISS MEEEE ON BEHALF OF LUCIEN GRANGE PLEEEEEASE.”
