Jeezy is no longer concerned with splashing his cash on cars or jewelry, especially when it comes to treating himself on his birthday.

During a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, the Atlanta hustler spoke about his growing real estate portfolio, revealing he invests in property — not flashy possessions — every time he turns a year older.

“Every big check I ever got, I bought property. Every time I had a birthday, I buy property,” he said. “I don’t buy chains, watches, cars, none of that; I buy property.”

Jeezy, who claimed he owns “half of Atlanta,” delved deeper into his journey from “trap king to rap king to real estate king,” crediting his close friend and business partner Solo for putting him on game.

“We went and bought all this land and buildings in the beginning. I kinda fell back from it because I was touring. I got back and he was like, ‘Come sit down and talk to me,'” he explained.

“He broke out the business and was like, ‘You know this building you bought for such-and-such is worth this now. And this land you bought for this is worth this now.’ I’m looking and I’m like, ‘Damn! We didn’t do anything.’ He was like, ‘That’s what I’m trying to tell you, that’s what real estate is.’ From that day forward, I was stuck.”

Despite carving out a successful and influential path in Hip Hop, Jeezy revealed business — not music — has always been his primary passion. Now that his hustler’s ambition has been realized, the Snowman is only looking to share the wisdom and wealth — in true thug motivation fashion.

“When I got the game, I just really wanted to give it to everybody else ’cause it was sweet! I’m like, ‘Why we flipping bricks when we can be doing this shit? It’s easy!'” he said.

“You ask some of my people like the Lakes, the DJ Dramas, I gave them all the game, all the connects, all the people because they’re getting real money and they’re doing real things. And they’re gonna turn their artists on and people they know.”

He added: “For me, it’s like, ‘I can’t buy all the property so let’s do it together!'”

Jeezy Says Street Cred Is No Longer Important To Him: ‘I Don’t Need Validation To Be A Real Man’

Despite his ever-expanding real estate empire, Jeezy hasn’t hung up his mic just yet. Last week, the CTE boss released his latest mixtape, Snofall, with long-time Gangsta Grillz collaborator DJ Drama. The project clocked in at 17 songs and featured appearances from Lil Durk, EST Gee and 42 Dugg.

Jeezy and DJ Drama also recently took their classic mixtape catalog on the road via a series of “B Side” concerts in Atlanta and Detroit, where they performed hits like “Dem Boyz,” “Who Dat” and Jeezy’s verse on Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know (Remix).”
