Fabolous has caught some flack from his stepdaughter Taina Williams, who has criticized the rapper for not being involved in her life.
It all started when Fab sent some birthday wishes to his 2-year-old daughter Journey on Monday (October 10), posting a heartfelt shoutout on Instagram.

“I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been,” Fabolous wrote alongside a photo of him holding his young daughter. “Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end. I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY.”
He continued: “You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love. Your life assures it will all add up… 10 • 10 • 2020. Happy Bday Journey Jackson.”

In a since-deleted comment, Williams called the post “hilarious” and accused the Brooklyn rapper of manipulation.
“‘Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end’ is Translation for = I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well being because IDC & Im bitter & I’m only a father to my two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. Stop playing with the internet.”
Fabolous was charged with assaulting Journey’s mother Emily B in 2018, and a grand jury indicted Loso on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, one count of possession of a weapon and two counts of threatening to kill.
Fab was able to avoid time behind bars after completing violence prevention workshops for six months. As part of the deal, he had to plead guilty to either one count of felony brandishing of a weapon or threatening domestic violence.

Reports emerged in 2020 that the couple had ended their 20-year-relationship. The pair also have two sons together.
Fab has yet to respond to his stepdaughter’s public claims, but the birthday shout-out comes as he’s been releasing a steady stream of new music these past few weeks, including a freestyle over Diddy’s new track “Gotta Move On” and a flip of Jack Harlow and Drake’s “Churchill Downs.”
Fab’s bars impressed Diddy so much he went on to announce a “Gotta Move On” freestyle challenge.
Fabolous hasn’t released a full-length project since Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever, which featured Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Gucci Mane, Roddy Ricch and others, but Fabolous cranked out two new songs in August when he was challenged by Hot 97’s Funk Flex to drop new music.

Days later, he linked with Jim Jones for the Hitmaka-produced “Rich Hustle,” and in September joined forces with Dave East for “Back To Bach” freestyle, which samples Loose Ends’ classic 1985 record “You Can’t Stop the Rain.”
