Lil Uzi Vert caught wind of some positive comments made by Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson, and he dished the love right back.
The three-time NBA champion took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (October 4) to show fans a DM he received from Baby Pluto after he called the rapper his favorite artist. In the message, Uzi had no words for Klay besides the goat emoji, which apparently was more than what the athlete expected.

“This made my year Real recognize real S/o my ninja lil uzi,” Klay wrote in his Story.
The DM came shortly after Thompson posted a video on Instagram showing someone breakdancing on the NBA hardwood court, followed by his own less-than-stellar moves.
“lil uzi my favorite rapper and You Got Served was really my moving growing up,” he wrote in the caption along with crying face and dancer emojis.
Meanwhile, future NBA Hall of Famer LeBron James recently revealed his favorite Hip Hop albums of all time during the Los Angeles Lakers media day.
“Favorite album of all time? Oh my goodness, wow,” he said while deep in thought about the question from NBA TV. “I can only have one album? That’s almost impossible. It Was Written by Nas and The Black Album, JAY-Z.”

King James gave a similar answer in May when he tweeted his top five Hip Hop albums, listing off classics from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, JAY-Z, The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas.
“The Chronic, Doggystyle, Black Album, Life After Death and ummm It Was Written,” he wrote. “But I have so many more to name for real!”
LeBron James isn’t only a fan of older Hip Hop, though. He’s also a big supporter of rap’s new generation, having co-signed the likes of Russ, Tee Grizzley and fellow Cleveland native Doe Boy, among many others, in recent years.
Tory Lanez even got some love from the four-time NBA champion when he played songs off his new album Sorry 4 What on his Instagram page. He also took to Twitter to acknowledge Tory’s hitmaking ability.
