Cardi B and JT have engaged in a Twitter feud that was supposed to remain in their private DMs, but the rap stars ended up subliminally exchanging shots for their millions of followers to see.

It appears as if Cardi lit the fuse on Monday evening (October 3) by calling JT a “lapdog” on Twitter but not tagging her. “I hope you don’t think you no bully,” JT responded while she added to the dog theme: “Wiener dog!”

The City Girls rapper continued: “Cardi you go fetch a real talent! We DM’ing why you come back here to put on a show for these KIDS?”

The Grammy-winning rhymer then exposed Quality Control’s Pierre “Pee” Thomas for trying to pair her up with JT’s alleged ghostwriter.

“So wait, me and you talking in the DM woman to woman, but YOU take it to your timeline and throw shots calling me a bully and a wiener,” Cardi responded. “Why you playing dumb? And YOU talking about a talent?! haaaaa! You forgot P tried to put me on wit your writer?”

JT downplayed the ghostwriting allegations and asserted she writes all of her verses while even accusing her “Twerk” collaborator of trying to bite their sound.

“No you wanted our written!!! For our hooks for our sound cause you clearly have none,” she fired back. “Ask ANY writer! I write my OWN shit!!! You know this!

“But today was supposed to be about GLORILLA! instead you called me a lap dog nah bitch ima a BIG DOG!! roof roof!”

Cardi then voiced her frustration that JT continued to go back-and-forth with her publicly rather than sort out their issues in the DMs.

“I definitely didn’t…P wanted to put me in to your writers cause yall numbers make him penies ……My talent speaks for it self tho,” she said of the ghostwriting allegations.

“Didn’t I hit you back in the DM 20 minutes ago but I gotta come on the timeline for a response? And you’re mute but steady arguing here. Like I said, this shit is for show. OPPORTUNISTS.”

The 29-year-old “Wap” rhymer headed to her chart stats after “Tomorrow 2” debuted No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and JT took a shot at her “Hot Shit” single.

“Hot shit debuted higher than any song you ever dropped or been on, prison pants,” she wrote. “Everybody has good and bad moments but you haven’t had one since what? ACT UP?”

The two agreed to head back to the DMs and JT downplayed Nicki Minaj’s involvement in the dispute as fans kept trying to force her name into the equation.

Although, Nicki did tweet out a pair of laughing GIFs in the midst of the spat and pledged her allegiance to team JT by changing her Twitter profile picture to the City Girls rhymer and sent out a video of her verse on the “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix).”

Meanwhile, Cardi B recently revealed she lost out on a major bag with a popular video game franchise due to her legal troubles.

Cardi B’s Akbar V Diss Song Prediction Comes True Following Twitter Spat

Taking to Twitter last Tuesday (September 27), the Bronx bombshell told her followers she had a multi-million dollar deal with Call of Duty in the works, but the opportunity fizzled out thanks to her recent assault case.

“My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now,” she wrote. “I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court.”
