“@chrisbrownofficial IS THE KING OF POP WHEN IT COMES TO MY ERA AND MY GENERATION …….IDGAF,” Tory wrote on Instagram while sharing a video of the custom piece.
“My dawg held me down in a time when most of the world left me for dead !!! I feel like This is a well deserved gift …. For so many reasons !!! Most of those reasons I engraved on the back of the chain !!!! Enjoy it my boy!”
The back of the silver pendant is engraved with all of Chris Brown’s musical accomplishments, including his wins and nominations at various award shows over the course of his career.
Brown recently reunited with Tory Lanez on “Bad Then a Beach,” from his June album Breezy. In the past, they’ve linked up on tracks such as “Feels,” “Lurkin,” “Tell Me How You Feel,” “The Take,” “Duck My Ex” and “Flexible.”
C-Breezy has downplayed the Michael Jackson comparisons for the better part of his career, and even paid homage to the late pop legend during an interview with Big Boy earlier this year.
“My personal take on it is, I wouldn’t even be breathing or even be able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist,” he said of MJ. “I don’t know if they look at it as a Jordan-Kobe thing, but I couldn’t even look at it. He’s lightyears ahead. There is no competing with him.”
