D-Roc of The Ying Yang Twins has given an update on his health after collapsing on stage during a performance in Springfield, Missouri last week.
A video surfaced over the weekend of D-Roc being carried off stage by security after he toppled to the ground while opening up for Vanilla Ice on Friday (July 29).

Now, in a new video shared on Monday (August 1), the Twin has reported that he’s “all good,” and blamed Missouri’s scorching temperatures for his collapse.
“I wanna thank everybody for their concern, but let me tell you what went on,” D-Roc said in a video on Instagram. “It was 84 degrees outside, yes, but on stage it made the temperature rise. So, I was getting dehydrated. Only thing y’all see was the fall.”
He continued: “I kept on telling my manager, I was like, ‘Look … It’s very hot up here. It’s very hot up here.’ I kept drinking water and then the next thing I know I woke up on the golf cart and the paramedics were right there and they said I was dehydrated. I drunk a lot of Gatorade and water. Got some sleep. The next day, I was in Florida… performing yet again, and I got a clip for y’all to see to show that I’m alright. Thank everyone for y’all love though … but I’m good.”

The Ying Yang Twins performed alongside Vanilla Ice at the Ozark Empire Fair, which spurred some controversy after Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mark McCloskey used a picture of the “Ice Ice Baby” lyricist, and referenced his performance at the Ozark Empire Fair, without the rapper’s permission.

McCloskey could be seen in an advertisement referencing both the Ying Yang Twins and Vanilla Ice, and told attendees of the show to “join team McCloskey.” The Republican candidate went so far as to pose next to Vanilla Ice in a picture, but when reached by phone denied it was his intention to make it seem like the rapper had endorsed his campaign.
“(We’re) merely saying that we’re going to be there at a time when they’re going to be there,” McCloskey said, adding there was “no relationship whatsoever.”

Vanilla Ice’s manager issued a statement to the Kansas City Starand said his client, “is not taking sides on political issues and is working to support his family. Please make this known.”
