Cordae has a lot of friends in the music and entertainment business, but not many were close to him as the late Juice WRLD. The two would hang out, freestyle together and more before Juice passed away from a drug overdose in 2019.
During a recent studio session recorded on TikTok, Cordae reflected on his late friend with a child who asked him questions about a picture he took on stage with Juice. The little kid was exuding curiosity as Cordae spoke about the Chicago native and even compared him to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
“That’s my friend, his name was Juice WRLD,” Cordae told the toddler before pointing at the King of Pop. “And that’s Michael Jackson. They both one in the same.”

Some may think Cordae is reaching for comparing Juice to MJ, but it’s hard to ignore the love both artists received from their fans and how talented they were with their music. Juice was a buzzing star when he was alive, but that popularity went through the roof after his passing.
His first two albums, Goodbye & Good Riddance and Death Race for Love, both went multi-platinum, with the latter being his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Juice saw even more success when his next two projects, Legends Never Die and Fighting Demons, went No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
Cordae, on the other hand, recently gave a huge revelation regarding his first two studio albums, The Lost Boy and From a Birds Eye View. According to the Maryland native, his debut is far more superior than his most recent solo effort.
“Yo so I just drove on a lil 4 hour road trip and listened to both my albums front to back,” he wrote during a listening session. “And fuck I must say it’s most definitely “The Lost Boy > FABEV lmaooo. My bad y’all. Ima do better next time. I got sumn to prove.”
With all due respect, Sounds like cordae on them same pills his friend was on to say that. A number one album does not make somebody Micheal Jackson. Juice was a rapper. Micheal Jackson and his whole family was on a different level. Comparing juice to him, is like comparing Eric bellinger to 2 pac. Not even the same convo. 2 pac is a better comparison to mj then that.
Its hard to compare anyone from the internet/streaming era to someone who reached legendary status with no internet. I mean other than the fact that drug addiction destroyed both their lives, its a horrible comparison. And MJ was a pedo.
Where the hell is the proof then? You are NOT a “Real Talk OG” you are a name biter who spreads a bullshit opinion!
Hey first, Michael wasn’t a drug addict and never a pedo. You are so wrong as that singer comparing Juice with Michael. You are at the same league lol
whacko jacko.
Did anybody ask about u here??
Here we go again with the ridiculous Michael Jackson comparisons. Juice Wrld was a one hit wonder while he was alive and only had a one or two year career. Mike had multiple hits and big selling albums during his almost 40-year career run. Stop lying to that kid, Cordae. Not in the same league at all.
Well it’s not a coincidence that every other day u see someone waking up n trying to compare someone we don’t even have a clue about with the King Michael Jackson. Just another way to try to make people believe Michael Jackson isn’t the GOAT anymore those who are quite hurt by his power n influence around the world. WWell these people are just wasting their precious time because they won’t ever succeed in their stupid sick fantasy, period.
???
I wouldn’t go as far as comparing him to MJ but you mf in the comments are always hating on juice. You can say he’s a one hit wonder all you want but at the end of the day, he may be dead, but he still makes more money than you can even dream of.
