Funk Flex has responded to Conway The Machine’s commentary on New York City DJs. Late Monday night (July 11), the veteran Hot 97 radio personality went in on the Griselda rapper and blatantly told him his career was basically over.

Conway The Machine sparked the contentious e-battle during a recent Instagram Live posted by The Hip Hop Wolf on Monday (July 11). The entire Instagram account has since been deactivated.
“New York, in my opinion, man you gotta get them old n-ggas up out the way like Flex and them n-ggas man,” he said. “You know what I mean? Them gatekeepers that you got up there man that’s trying to dictate like who, you know what I’m saying? Like c’mon bruh.
