In an interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game,French Montana says Max B is one step closer to getting out from behind bars.

The Coke Boyz affiliate has been in jail since 2009 after he was sentenced to 75 years in prison for conspiracy charges related to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and felony murder. Fortunately, Max B revealed in 2019 that the sentence had been reduced for an undisclosed reason.

“They gave me 75, got it chopped to a 20 then got it down to a dozen,” Max B captioned a photo of himself on Instagram in his prison uniform. “nigga I’m good with the money. #SUPERBAD.”

While a 12-year prison sentence potentially meant a release date of 2021, Max B still remains incarcerated, but French told Million Dollaz that Max is closer to being on his way out, but didn’t comment on a date or when fans can expect the rapper to come home.

“Max is in the camps now, so he a step closer to coming home,” French said.
