Boosie Badazz has taken a heavy liking to Shrooms this past year. The Baton Rouge rapper took the psychedelic drug for the first time back in January while on a family vacation and loved the experience so much he documented it on social media.
“MAN I JUST EXPERIENCED A MUSHROOM HIGH. AMAZING,” he tweeted, before sharing a photo of him holding the bag of mushrooms.
“Vlad, I never been high like that in my life,” Boosie said of the trip during an interview with VladTV, adding that he went to a “naked hot springs” and that he laughed for “like three, four hours straight.”

“I talked to everybody in the hot springs,” Boosie added. “Bro, I was walking around the hot springs [saying] ‘my hot spring neighbors! I love you guys!’ I was just outta control bro. I don’t want no more for a minute unless I’m around a lot of people, and everybody with me was the same fucking way. Cause it was everybody’s first real-time. We had the real shit, bro.”

It didn’t take long for Boosie to want to eat some more mushrooms. In a video shared on Instagram on Monday (May 16), the “Wipe Me Down” lyricist can be seen trying to communicate with sea creatures while deep in a trip. Although, it remains unclear from his sound alone which sea critter he wanted to speak to.

Boosie’s appreciation for shrooms aligns him with a slew of other rappers who favor hallucinogenic drugs such as A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, Flatbush Zombies, Madlib, and even Boosie’s previous nemesis Lil Nas X. Speaking on his own experience with mushrooms in Netflix’s Have a Good Trip, Rocky said, “No lie, a rainbow shot out of my dick.”
