After one of his recent shows, the Memphis rapper took some time out to meet a 61-year-old superfan who knew all the words to his songs. The fan rapped the lyrics to “Camelot” and “Shotta Flow” in a video posted by NLE Choppa to his TikTok page.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday (May 15), NLE Choppa reflected on how far he’s come, not realizing he was able to sell out venues on his own.

“I didn’t realize how lit I was until I started selling out these dates,” he wrote. “I’m HIM FYTB in the humblest way. I’m on my way to exactly where I want to be I didn’t know I was capable of SELLING out shows BY MYSELF. This just gave me all the confidence I needed. Respectfully N HUMBLY.”
NLE Choppa has upcoming shows in Columbus, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Los Angeles, before heading overseas with performances in Bulgaria, Israel, Poland, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and the UK.
