2022 HipHopDX Rising Star Doechii is just getting started when it comes to breaking into the industry, and she’s looking to make a big splash with some recent news.

On Tuesday (March 1), HITS Daily Double reported Doechii has signed a deal with famed West Coast powerhouse label, Top Dawg Entertainment. The signing makes sense given Doechii appeared on Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning LP and performed on his Lil Sunny’s Awesome Vacation Tour.

As if that wasn’t big enough news, there’s reportedly a bidding war between major labels looking to handle the 22-year-old Tampa, Florida native’s distribution.

The announcement comes after fans have been wondering what the future holds for TDE. In August 2021, Kendrick Lamar shocked the world when he announced his next album will be his final for the famed label.
