Rihanna and A$AP Rocky captured the world’s attention on Monday (January 31) when they revealed they were expecting their first child. But had their fans been paying attention, they would’ve noticed the A$AP Mob rapper hinted his famous girlfriend was pregnant weeks ago.
In a clip uploaded by Our Generation Music, Rocky is masked up in the studio when he holds six fingers up to the camera and pretends to cradle an infant, suggesting the baby is six months along. Not many details are included other than a caption that reads, “#AsapRocky hinted at #Rihanna being 6 months pregnant a few weeks ago.”
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna made the big announcement with the help of photographer Miles Diggs, who photographed the celebrity couple in Harlem. The Barbadian singer was wearing a pink jacket with just two of the top buttons fastened in order to show off her growing baby bump.

Rumors Rihanna was pregnant began to make the rounds in November 2021 when the Savage X Fenty founder accepted the National Hero award in her native Barbados wearing a tight dress. She soon denied the rumors via an Instagram DM exchange with a fan account. “Haaaaa! Stawwwp!” she wrote in response to a question about a potential baby shower. “You ain’t came to the first 10 baby showers! Y’all breed me every year dammit lol.”

According to Page Six, her baby bump was apparent when she and Rocky dined at the trendy NYC restaurant Carbone last month. A source claimed, “Rihanna was quite clearly drinking sparkling water and openly rubbing her baby bump. At one point she got up and had to maneuver the bump around the side of the table!”
