Nick Cannon sparked baby No. 8 rumors after he was photographed hosting a baby shower with Bre Tiesi in Malibu on Sunday (January 30). Tiesi, the ex-wife of NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel, is evidently fuming over TMZ’s invasion of privacy. On Monday (January 31), Tiesi blasted the news outlet for stealing what was supposed to be a private moment — but didn’t necessarily confirm the Wild ‘N Out host was the father.
“Given the recent announcement regarding my pregnancy, I would like to address a few things,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. “From the day I found out I was pregnant, I was over the moon excited and filled with joy. I am still incredibly excited and eager to be a mommy. I purposefully kept my pregnancy private for various personal reasons, and am horrified this precious moment was exploited and plastered all over TMZ.
“This was not how I’d hope to share this news especially given that I’ve been able to protect this news for almost my entire pregnancy. With that said, thank you to those surrounding me with love during this beautiful time in my life. I cannot wait to meet my son.”
Nick Cannon became social media fodder in July 2021 for fathering four children in less than six months. In December 2020, he welcomed daughter Powerful Queen, his second child with Brittany Bell, then twins with Abby De La Rosa on June 14, 2021 and another son named Zen with model Alyssa Scott born just nine days later.

Cannon already shares 9-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey and is also the father to a 3-year-old son named Golden with Bell. According to the Power 106 radio host, his growing fleet of children is very much by design. During an interview with City Girls rappers JT and Yung Miami at the time, Cannon asked if they had any advice to give him to which JT said, “Wrap it up.”
Cannon replied, “Wrap it up, like, hurry up and wrap it up?” JT reiterated, “Wrap it up as in wrap it up and protect yourself.” He then shouted, “I’m having these kids on purpose! I didn’t have no accident!” Cannon explained in his defense there were “a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t,” again suggesting having so many kids was a conscious choice.
But it hasn’t been a walk in the park for Cannon. During an episode of The Nick Cannon Show last December, Cannon revealed Zen Cannon had succumbed to brain cancer at just five months old. He and his family discovered early on the baby was battling Hydrocephalus, “the buildup of fluid in the cavities (ventricles) deep within the brain.”

He continued, “I always noticed he had a cough and so I wanted to check it out,” he said in part. “He had this interesting breathing and by the time he was two months I noticed he had this nice sized head too — a Cannon head. We didn’t think anything of it. But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.”
As for Cannon’s latest alleged child, the couple couldn’t look happier in the recent Instagram video Tiesi posted. Check it out below.
