There’s a new challenge that’s taking over social media that has people laying out money on the floor to spell out a specific message. NBA YoungBoy started the trend when he laid his money out last week in what fans thought was a shot at his newfound enemies Lil Durk and NLE Choppa.

Artists such as Durkio, Future, French Montana, Fivio Foreign, 2022 HipHopDX Rising Star Coi Leray and more have taken part in the challenge. Not everyone is sold on the whole viral moment, though, like Roddy Ricch, who took part in the challenge only to call for it to end.

The Live Life Fast rapper took to his Instagram Story on Monday (January 24) with a money message challenge, saying, “EVERYBODY PLEASE STFU.”

It might be too late for Roddy as the challenge has grown legs of its own. Some have warned people in taking part in the challenge, such as Nick Cannon and Wiz Khalifa, who advised people to be careful because the IRS is watching.

50 Cent even joined in on the fun, claiming to have started the whole trend with a post of him laying his money out on the floor and declaring he was broke after running into bankruptcy issues back in the early 2010s.
