On Saturday (December 8), Boosie Badazz wrote to his Twitter followers, “I GOT A QUESTION FOR YALL LET SEE WHO SMART. DINNER WITH BOOSIE OR 20 THOUSAND? #boosiequestions.” An aspiring rapper from Dayton, Ohio named Lon6z quickly replied to his tweet and chose the former.

“Fuck 20k! What’s for dinner I’m otw,” he wrote back. The dinner happened, and Lon6z has since elaborated further on his decision to sit down with the Baton Rouge rapper.

“I’m a hustler; I just felt that it was the way to go tbh,” Lon6z, whose real name is Allante DeBrill, told The Shade Room. “My gut always leads me to the bag, and Boosie is one of the most knowledgeable OGs out here. This just the beginning for a lot of moves coming. Plus, I got a feature and hella gems, so basically, I already made that 20k and then some!”

DeBrill did in fact secure a feature and music video appearance with the “Wipe Me Down” rapper. He flexed the moment on Twitter.

“Worth every penny,” he wrote. The track is a remix of Lon6z’s 2020 song “Run It Up.” It’s called “Run It Up 2.0 (Boosie Alpha Initiation)” and opens with a verse from Boosie. The video closes with a hilarious skit that finds the 39-year-old failing an Alpha Phi Alpha initiation, before stealing one of the fraternity’s letterman jackets on his way out.

Boosie’s fraternity dreams may soon be a reality. The rapper revealed in November that he’s enrolled in Jackson State University.
