It’s no secret that Bobby Shmurda loves to dance. He created the “Shmoney Dance” craze way back in 2014, and since becoming a free man in February after his six-year prison stint, Bobby hasn’t stopped moving his body.
Some fans have dragged the Brooklyn native for his “fruity” routines, but now it seems people are catching on. Bobby released his new “Shmoney” video featuring Quavo and Rowdy Rebel on Friday (December 17), and already it has sparked a wave of imitators on TikTok.
Bobby Shmurda took to his Instagram on Monday (December 20) to share some of the funniest efforts he’s seen so far, which have apparently left him in stitches.
The first clip has popular TikTok user @onlyatb copying Bobby’s pelvic thrusts throughout the music video. The original clip has over 1.2 million plays on TikTok.

Meanwhile, the second video shows a kid that could pass for Bobby’s little brother throwing money and imitating the gyrations from the “Shmoney” video.
“Ima piss my fucking pants,” Bobby wrote in the caption.
TikTok users aren’t the only ones feeling Bobby Shmurda’s dance moves. On Sunday (December 19), fellow New Yorker Cardi B clapped back at the GS9 rapper’s critics on Twitter, chastising them for ridiculing a young man enjoying his newfound freedom.
“Y’all really be trying Bobby cause he be dancing and no lie when I used to do visits in Rikers Bobby & Rowdy were always in OBC solitary confinement cause they was really getting it rockin,” she wrote. “Them boys ain’t punked out in jail really stood on their shit unlike a lot of rappers.”
