When Cardi B and Offset were out shopping for their three-month-old son on Sunday (December 19), the Migos rapper made sure Cardi knew how he felt about some of her fit choices. A video posted to Cardi’s Instagram Stories captured the funny back-and-forth.

“Babe look,” Cardi said as she held up a small grey fedora,” to which Offset replied, “Hell nah, I’m not putting that shit on my son man, got my boy looking like Ne-Yo.”

Cardi then held up a full outfit that included a red bow-tie and pine tree-decorated suspenders and asked, “Ain’t this cute?”

Offset shot back, “Hell the fuck no, man. Hell, no, bro stop playing, for real,” before comparing the outfit to something Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would wear.

“He ain’t gonna be dressing like no Carlton, man,” he said.

Cardi gave birth to the pair’s second child on September 6, giving their daughter Kulture a baby brother.

“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement provided by Cardi’s representatives. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi revealed her first pregnancy in an April 2018 during an episode of Saturday Night Live then revealed her second pregnancy at the 2021 BET Awards, showcasing a baby bump while she performed “Straghtenin” and “Type Shit” alongside Migos.
