Whack created a unique 1980s-inspired collection of footwear alongside her stylist Shirley Kurata that encapsulates the polymath’s unique approach to music. Whack described the collection in a press release as a “mélange of colors, shapes, patterns, and phrases that explores limitless creativity.”

“It was an amazing experience to be able to take what I do with music and apply it to fashion,” she added. “Making music is all about collaboration and it was great to work with Shirley and with Vans to give people a collection they can feel free in.”

While Whack hasn’t released a full project since 2018, she’s released a string of loose singles over the years including “8,” “76,”  “Only Child,” “Gloria,” “Clones” and, most recently, “Walk The Beat.”

Whack has also kept her buzz afloat these last few years by engaging in unique creative endeavors, such as when she created the music video to “Link” with LEGO and kids from her hometown or when she gained a mass of Twitter followers after a freestyle of hers over Onyx’s 1995 single “Last Days” went viral in February.
