Tierra Whack is set to return. On Tuesday (November 30), the Grammy Award-nominated Philly rapper, singer, songwriter and poet announced on she’ll release the follow-up 2018’s critically acclaimed Whack World project on December 2.

Titled Rap?, Whack also announced she’ll drop her first-ever Vans collaboration on December 3. Whack created a unique 1980s-inspired collection of footwear alongside her stylist Shirley Kurata that encapsulates the polymath’s unique approach to music. Whack described the collection in a press release as a “mélange of colors, shapes, patterns, and phrases that explores limitless creativity.”

“It was an amazing experience to be able to take what I do with music and apply it to fashion,” she added. “Making music is all about collaboration and it was great to work with Shirley and with Vans to give people a collection they can feel free in.”

The set will include four styles of footwear and ten apparel pieces all emboldened with Tierra Whack’s signature mantra “Weird Hype and Creative Kids,” otherwise known as “WHACK.”

Along with these exciting announcements, Whack also announced she’ll perform a  slew of sold-out shows in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, along with a third location that has yet to be announced.

While Whack hasn’t released a full project since 2018, she’s released a string of loose singles over the years including “8,” “76,”  “Only Child,” “Gloria,” “Clones” and, most recently, “Walk The Beat.”

Whack has also kept her buzz afloat these last few years by engaging in unique creative endeavors, such as when she created the music video to “Link” with LEGO and kids from her hometown or when she gained a mass of Twitter followers after a freestyle of hers over Onyx’s 1995 single “Last Days” went viral in February.
