50 Cent’s transition into a television/media mogul has been remarkable. He kicked things off with his first show, Power, and now his platform has grown into an actual empire. On Sunday (November 21), 50’s Power: Book II returned for season two the same day his other show BMF had its season one finale.

BMF became Starz’s number one rated show, but with Power officially back, things can change. The ratings showdown may not be a big deal to fans, but it looks like it is between actors on the two shows.

On Wednesday (November 24), 50 Cent took to his Instagram to share a post of him and Demetrius Flenory Jr. — who plays his father Big Meech on BMF — to celebrate the show taking the top spot. According to 50, Power may have some trouble competing.

“@lilmeechbmf let’s go, time to get busy,” said 50. “Now look BMF Highest rated show but, GHOST it feels like ya might got a problem. @michaelraineyjr LOL IM DON KING IN THIS SHIT! i don’t care who win i’m leaving with the winner.”

Michael Rainey Jr. — who plays Tariq St. Patrick in Power — hopped in 50’s comment section to let his boss know that things are going to change now that season two of Book II is here.

“Season 2 back all that shit bouta change,” Rainey wrote.

Lil Meech chimed in with a post of his own and said, “Come On 5…. Now U Know I’m With All That Shit LIL GHOST OR BIG MEECH? Imma Let The People Decide @michaelraineyjr.”

50 came back to stir the pot once more with his guys in another post, sharing Rainey’s comments Power would take the top spot in no time.

“Damn he said he don’t give a fuck about no BMF season 2 is here GHOST #1 ? @lilmeechbmf ain’t gonna like this shit one bit on gang. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” 50 wrote.

50 then opened the flood gates for other actors such as Power Book III: Raising Kanaan‘s Mekai Curtis, Book II‘s Gianni Paolo and BMF‘s Davinchi to hurl shots at one another.

The Instagram beef is probably all fun and games between the crop of actors, but 50 is definitely enjoying the publicity he’s getting. It’s happening at the best time, too, with another Power show (Book IV: Force) coming soon.
