50 Cent has announced the cast for his upcoming Power Book IV: Force series, even before Power Book III: Raising Kanan‘s expected debut this summer.
According to Deadline, the main lineup will include Lili Simmons (True Detective, Ray Donovan) as Claud, the only daughter to Chicago’s largest kingpin, Gabrielle Ryan as Gloria, a former Marine carving her path in Chicago, Isaac Keys (Get Shorty, The Oath) as Diamond, the former young head of Chicago’s most promising crew who served a 15-year sentence and Shane Harper as Vic Flynn, the heir apparent to Chicago’s largest crime family.
Kris D. Lofton (Ballers, Empire) stars as Jenard Sampson, a shining star gifted from birth, with Anthony Fleming III (Prison Break) as JP Gibbs, a gifted jazz musician who’s toured several continents, Lucien Cambric (Chicago P.D., The Chi) as D-Mac, a young man raised by the streets of Chicago’s Southside, and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) as Walter Flynn, the head of Chicago’s Irish crime family.

Starz’s Power Book IV: Force follows Joseph Sikora in his reprised role as Tommy Egan after he cuts ties and puts New York behind him. 50 and Courtney Kemp, who created the series, will executive produce alongside Mark Canton and Robert Munic.
50 took to Instagram on Thursday (February 18) to make note of his work ethic and show off the cast he’s assembled for the upcoming show.

In an interview with EW last month, Sikora spoke about what Power Book IV: Force might entail with his character.

“Can Tommy survive?” Sikora said. “When I’ve been doing my due diligence and research and actually going to where we’re going to be filming, I ask cops and robbers, ‘How would Tommy survive? How would this guy from out of town survive in these new streets?’ And I think that it’s going to take all facets of Tommy that we’ve built up to until now to not only survive but to potentially thrive — and to potentially leave. You don’t know if it’s going to be one city and then another city and if he’s going to keep bopping or what connections need to be made.”
He added, “But what does need to happen is that we need to see how fast or how slow Tommy analyzes and adapts to a new situation. Is gangster the same all over America? Or is there a specific gangster out of New York? Is that able to adapt? I think we’re going to have a lot of Capone references.”
