According to TMZ, the Pompano Beach rapper dropped $14,500 on over 5,000 turkeys to help out families across South Florida during the holiday season. Driving around in rental trucks, his team handed out birds in seven locations over the course of three days. Some of the neighborhoods to benefit from Kodak Black’s giveaway are Sistrunk, Sunland, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, Little Haiti and Golden Acres.
His attorney Bradford Cohen says he would have loved to gift the turkeys in person, but he’s focusing on completing rehab so he can continue to support underprivileged neighborhoods.

Kodak Black reportedly entered a 90-day tratement program in September after failing a drug test, which violated terms of his supervised prison release in his federal gun case.

No stranger to giving back for Thanksgiving, Kodak Black made a similar gesture last November by spending $15,000 on 1,000 turkeys, soda and savory snacks that were handed out to hundreds of people at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center in Pompano Beach.
At the time, Kodak was serving a 46-month prison sentence at Illinois’ USP Thomson, where his Thanksgiving options were revealed to be a turkey roast or tofu stir fry, mashed potatoes, corn, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, dinner rolls and pie or cranberry sauce. Just two months later, he was pardoned by Donald Trump.
Kodak Black has been in the giving mood throughout 2021. The rapper donated money and gifts to breast cancer survivors in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, while donating $20,000 to the two-year-old daughter of a police officer who passed away from COVID-19 the previous month.
