Rap’s former favorite couple Quavo and Saweetie dated for roughly three years before calling it quits under a veil of controversy in March. After unfollowing each other on social media, Twitter blew up with breakup rumors and the “ICY GIRL” rapper soon confirmed the split with a pair of Twitter posts while suggesting the Migos rapper had been unfaithful.
“I’m single,” Saweetie wrote at the time. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

But that was apparently the least of their problems. Shortly after the breakup announcement, surveillance footage of a physical altercation between the couple was leaked online. In the clip, Quavo and Saweetie wrestled over an orange Call of Duty case before she ultimately fell to the ground.

Quavo then reportedly had her birthday Bentley repossessed and seemingly moved on.

So on Tuesday (August 24) when a rumor the estranged couple was “quietly” hanging out again started making the rounds, some of Saweetie’s fans were disappointed in her choice to allegedly reconcile with her ex. Fans speculate the two could’ve made amends at Hot 97’s Summer Jam earlier this month.

Whatever the case, Twitter had plenty to say on the subject. Some even jokingly blamed Jack Harlow’s viral interaction with Saweetie at the 2021 BET Awards as the catalyst for their rekindled romance, while others suggested her lucrative deal with McDonald’s sealed the deal.
