Kanye West is coming home again. After rumors circulated of another listening party earlier this week, Kanye made it official on Wednesday (August 18) when announcing plans for a third — fourth if you include Las Vegas — Donda listening event, but this time, Yeezy is heading to Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 26.
Kanye West revealed his plans on Instagram with a flyer that reads, “Donda Soldier Field 8 26 21.” The latest Donda showing is set to start at 9 p.m. CT and tickets will be going on sale via Ticketmaster beginning on August 20 at noon CT.
While some fans are losing faith in the project, others are eager to hear what other tweaks Kanye has made to the 20+ track album. Donda is a star-studded effort in the mold of a DJ Khaled album on steroids with features from JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, The Weeknd, Lil Yachty, Ty Dolla $ign, Jay Electronica, The LOX, Griselda, Playboi Carti, Baby Keem, Fivio Foreign, Vory, the late Pop Smoke, Pusha T and more.
The pair of Atlanta listening events where Kanye West was holed up temporarily living inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium were streamed exclusively by Apple Music.

The second event became the most-streamed Apple Music exclusive ever with over 5.4 million viewers. Kanye West also reportedly raked in $7 million in merchandise sales at the in-person events with over 40,000 attendees each.
Kanye’s confidant Ameer Sudan relayed to Billboard that fans can “expect a more detailed show on a whole other level.”
With the Chicago listening set for next Thursday (August 26), there’s newfound hope Donda will finally drop in the subsequent hours following the event on Friday (August 27).

Kanye’s manager and Akon’s brother, Abou “Bu” Thiam, responded to a fan saying the album will “100 percent” arrive after the Chicago listening.
