Trippie Redd is in the clear when it comes to his 2018 assault case. According to TMZ, legal documents viewed by their sources revealed that Trippie Redd — born Michael White — won’t be prosecuted by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in regards to his June 2018 case and no charges will be filed.
A woman accused the Ohio native of pistol-whipping her in the head. When Atlanta police arrived on the scene, they reportedly discovered a bump on the victim’s head and felt they had the grounds to arrest Trippie Redd. Upon reviewing the case, the 22-year-old now won’t face any of the assault and battery charges.
“[My] law firm has worked tirelessly for over 3 years to prove the rapper was innocent of the aggravated assault allegation,” Trippie’s attorney Drew Findling told TMZ.
