Nearly a year removed from his debut album Virgo World, Lil Tecca is returning back to his roots with the rollout of We Love You Tecca 2 — the direct sequel to the project that housed his career-making hit “Ransom.”

The upcoming albumixtape is scheduled for an August 6 release date with hopes of duplicating the original’s platinum success.

“AUGUST 6TH 50K COMMENTS FOR THE TRACKLIST LETS GOOO R U DUMB,” Tecca wrote on Instagram, captioning the album cover art which depicts his illustrated likeness standing atop the globe floating in the ocean.

As of press time, fans and supporters blew past the goal by over 10,000 comments so the tracklist should be arriving sooner than later.

The 18-year-old rap star has been leading up to this moment for months; having secured a spot on the recently released Space Jam: A New Legacy Official Soundtrack and is all set to perform at Rolling Loud Miami 2021 this weekend.
