IDK continues to make the best out of the opportunities that are presented to him and he makes sure he gives back to his community.

Over the holiday weekend, IDK went back to his neighborhood to hand out pairs of limited edition Nike Supreme “Mean Green” Dunks. Those who were lucky enough to get a pair of the rare kicks shared footage of the moment on social media.

“IDK is the goat man that’s all I got to say,” said one person holding a marker for the Maryland rapper to use to sign the sneaker. “Not too much got these, but this man the goat.”

IDK’s giveaway comes after he inked a new deal with Nike last month, making him a member of the sportswear giant. The 29-year-old took to Twitter to announce the news.

“The ink just dried, ” IDK tweeted with a set of pictures showing a “Welcome IDK” cake from Nike. “Im officially apart of of the Swoosh family. @Nike.”

It’s still unclear what IDK will be doing with Nike and the new deal but he does have access to a boatload of sneakers at his disposal. He’s been playing sneaker doctor over the last few weeks too as he’s been customizing various pairs of Nikes.

IDK is doing more than just deals with brands. He’s also crossing over into the academia space in collaboration with Harvard University. The new music business program will be for students of color looking for a future career in the music industry.
