Following his recent singles “Exposure” and “Cooking With Grease” Shelley FKA DRAM is ramping up his pre-album promotional push alongside Summer Walker on their humbling “All Pride Aside With Summer Walker.”

DRAM Reemerges As ‘Shelley' Complete With New LVRN Music & Dramatic Weight-Loss Transformation

In an Instagram post on Monday (April 26), Shelley teased the new collaboration with the “Girls Need Love” vocalist while also simultaneously confirming the arrival of his album on April 29.

“Album Drops at the end of this week so to kick off this moment here’s even more NEW MUSIC- “All Pride Aside” Out Now with __________ !! (Tag who’s vocals you hear in the comments to fill in the blank),” the Grammy-nominated rapper playfully wrote in the video caption.

Shelley also doubled-down on the album promo by taking The Shelley Show to NPR for a soulful and intimate Tiny Desk (Home) Concert performance on Monday. Dripping in satin and silk fabrics, Shelley delivered a smooth 15-minute set featuring his recent singles and an exclusive premiere of  the track “Rich And Famous” from the upcoming album.

In the process of announcing the release date of his album earlier this month, Shelley revealed the self-titled project would serve as a memorial to honor his late mother, who passed away in 2019.

“As some of you may know my mom passed away last year,” Shelley wrote in an Instagram post caption. “Before she passed I played her my upcoming album and I begged her to promise she wouldn’t play it for anyone else. She held her promise and took the music with her beyond this life. Her birthday is April 29th, so I’m pushing my album Shelley FKA DRAM’s release date to April 29th as not only my gift back to her, but my promise to play it for the world.”
