Lil Durk isn’t inviting drama into his world, even if hecklers or some media outlets accuse him of having a different kind of image. The Chicago-bred rapper took to his Instagram stories on Saturday (March 20) to clear the air on rumors and why he felt the need to have security with him during a recent Miami trip.

“Blogs make n-ggas look like killers out here,” he began. “and be real bitches don’t believe no story bout me cause n-ggas know better in person y’all got the net.”

He added in a follow-up post, “So cap it wasn’t a shooting, not even a fight at the club … seem like police got n-ggas working real street n-ggas be safe out here.”

While Durkio and fellow “Back In Blood” star Pooh Shiesty were in Florida for a club appearance, a fan captured Durk surrounded by security guards as he made his way out of a club.

Durk hasn’t shied away from avoiding drama or an image he doesn’t fit, despite the best efforts of 6ix9ine and others. After releasing a deluxe edition of his The Voice album in January, the Chicago star’s project is reportedly eligible for a gold plaque. It would be Durk’s second consecutive gold plaque following his Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 album which was released in May 2020.

Lil Baby Promises A Classic With Lil Durk Collaboration Album

Following the success of The Voice, Durk has another alleged classic on his hands, this time with Lil Baby. After the two partied in Atlanta during All-Star Weekend, the Quality Control rapper promised their joint effort was on the way.

“We got songs where we just bars, we got songs where we got the vibe, we got songs with other people that’s just remakes of other songs,” Lil Baby told MTV News. “It’s gonna be one of the craziest albums to ever come out … We got more than one album recorded. We’ve been locked in with each other. This shit easy.”
