MIAMI, FL

Trick Daddy’s case following his January 2020 arrest has now been closed. According to TMZ, Trick recently took a plea deal for the case where he will accept the possession of cocaine charge but the DUI will be tossed away. With credit for time served, the 46-year-old won’t be returning to jail.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Trick didn’t pass a sobriety test at the time of his arrest in Miami. Body-worn video footage also showed a white powder rolled up into a dollar bill and Trick slurring his speech while trying to talk his way out of trouble with the law.

As part of his plea deal, the “Let’s Go” rapper will be making a donation to the Miami-Dade County Camillus House homeless shelter.
