According to Akademiks, we’re going to have a Drake and Meek Mill collab in 2021.

“I heard Drake and Meek in Bahamas shooting a music video…hmmm,” the former Everyday Struggle host tweeted on Wednesday (January 6). “Heard that content will soon fwd.”

Akademiks previously vowed to stop reporting on Meek after the Philadelphia rapper requested so in June, but clearly the news was too big to pass up.

“So.. y’all remember when meek told me to stop posting him and I did.. then he went on philly radio complaining that I ain’t posting his album… well today he asked that I stopped posting him,” Akademiks said at the time. “And I’ll gladly oblige … I don’t need no artist who don’t wanna be on platform. there will no more meek mill posts after this on my platform. Too many other lit rappers for me to cover.”

Drake’s new album Certified Lover Boy is set to drop this month, so the track is likely to be a song from the project. However, Meek could be working on a project of his own as well – especially after promising in October that he’d drop a new album by 2020’s end.
