Miami, FL

The COVID-19 pandemic has been running rampant since at least March, taking a devastating toll on the entire globe. While foiled party plans sound trite when considering the over 340,000 American lives that have been lost, people must act accordingly.

Diddy appeared to make the right call on December 28 when he canceled his annual New Year’s Eve party amid coronavirus concerns but did a full 180 the very next day when celebrating his son Justin Combs’ 27th birthday.

On Tuesday (December 29), Diddy threw a lavish party for his son at a Miami club that included a lot of people and very few masks. In a clip of the soiree, everyone was in close proximity of one another as they toasted to the birthday boy.

At the same time, Diddy has been doing his best to help others in the Miami community make it through the seemingly endless pandemic. On Tuesday (December 29), the Bad Boy Records mogul handed out $50 bills, grocery store gift cards and hygiene bags in the Overton neighborhood. Wearing a clear face guard and black gloves, he fielded a line of hundreds of people who’ve been affected by unemployment.

Diddy Cancels Annual NYE Party Amidst COVID-19 Concerns

Diddy’s charitable organization, The Sean Combs Foundation, is also working with local promotor Michael Gardner, Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success (T.E.E.S.), Headliner Market Group and Miami Dade County Commissioner Keon Hardemon to provide rental assistance for 175 families.

It’s been a busy month of birthdays for Diddy. On December 21, he celebrated his mother’s 80th birthday by gifting her a $1 million check and brand new Bentley. His twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, also turned 12 on December 21.
